It's been a while and I got so much to say.

First, i am sick of reading about Angelina Jolie and her multi-racial adopted children. So i appeal to the media, unless she's eating them, it's really not interesting anymore.

Eating at pseudo-japanese restaurants
Don't you just find annoying non-japanese speaking waiters/waitresses who try? It's 'irasshaimasu' (jap for welcome). Not 'iramas', not 'irashee' and most certainly not 'mazzz'. For goodness sake, a simple 'welcome' will do.

Flyer distributors at Jurong East interchange
They either try to blind you by thrusting pieces of paper at your eyes, or employ what i like to call the 'clothes-line' manoeuver, which is to block you with outstretched arms until you take the stupid flyer.

The slow-mo people at ATMs
Damn the people in front who need to read every option five times before they make a decision. Just in case, you know, they accidentally transfer $10 million out of their savings account.

NTU

Spent the last week of my holidays attending a 1 week entrepreneurship course. Nothing much to comment, not exactly helpful. School officially starts on Monday!

Relief teaching

Anyway during the holidays i did some relief teaching in two schools in the west area, one an unranked neighbourhood school, the other a top independent one. I don't want to name them lest i get sued for indiscriminate blogging.

Nothin much to say about the neighbourhood school since i basically just had to stand in for the teacher. In the other one, i had to teach. This particular school is crazy i tell you, the stuff they learn is SO advanced. But i still had a fun time, didn't even mind staying back when i was there. The students are quite fun, can talk cock. Pity them for having me as a teacher though, quite a few or rather, many questions i could not answer. Think i holiday too long already, everything return back to Dr Sumod haha. Worse, i even had to conduct practical! Kept praying no one would get poisoned or explode something. I learnt a lot at this school, probably more than what the students learnt from me haha. It actually further confirmed that signing on to be a teacher was the right choice for me. Kk before i get all 'inspirational', i need to go back to choosing mods to add to my timetable.
