MOE Teaching Scholarship Presentation Ceremony 2007

the day finally came on monday for me to receive my certificate. probably this will be the first and only time ill shake hands with the minister for education. i was very motivated by the song item put up by the overseas scholars because they demonstrated that as future teachers, regardless whether we are of the PSC or TA level, we need to be teachers with a heart, not the kind of scolding and shouting ones some of us might have had when we were in school. and i was very happy when cheng leng actually came! i couldn't find her but she found me and we had a good time talking about S1, chem and ourselves. talk until while my mouth got food also still talk haha i have no manners. she even gave me a book titled 'the difference maker'. so nice rite?

NTU

got lost today finding my first official lesson in ntu - phy lecture. I HATE PHY! walao i haven touch phy for almost 5 yrs and whatever phy background i have is O level combined sci. like that's gonna help me score an A. but overall the day went well. i even made two new friends today. looking forward to fri's lectures.

in other news, when i spoke with my professor (the one i was under when working in ntu), he told me the findings i helped with will most probably be published in tetrahedron letters (a scientific journal) next month! it's very exciting cos he included my name so it means i'm one of the authors of a scientific paper!

last fri was the first day for all freshmen and morning began with my sch's orientation session. saw some of my friends whom i met while working in the lab. hahah had so much fun talking to them. well anyway, the session was informative. afternoon was the freshmen welcome ceremony for all. quite boring...nothing much.


Birthday

i celebrated one more time last night, and we ate at suntec sizzler. As usual, this is what group z gave me or rather what i wanted them to give me :D.
