my new job is so tiring. maybe it's just me but i dun get how these foreign students can work on their research for more than 10 hours a day (i only do around 5-6 hours a day).
















so this is me in my lab coat. i wasnt suppose to be taking pictures but i was so tired i couldnt be bothered to follow my mentor to the NMR lab. just stayed and waited to go home.













the fume hood where i perform my reactions. i can take hours just to complete one stupid experiment. not like in jc where we just take some test tubes and a bunsen burner and go heat. and surprisingly, all these stuff u see here are actually required items. damn many la. sometimes i dun even know which is which. and what i do is simple university level somemore. these PhD smart farts do a lot more.













i dun even know what kind of compunds im dealing with. too cheem already. even simple methyl benzene has a brand name called toluene. like wtf rite. and they expect me to know all these crap stuff already.

but as much as i complain, i like what im doing. first week i was definitely on blur sotong mode. until the prof in charge of my mentor had to tell him to slow it down and SPEAK TO ME IN ENGLISH if possible. ahahaha cos wo bu hui jiang hua yu. ill just see how it goes from now...tetrahydrofuran...3-phenylpropionaldehyde...omg.


going to shanghai next week yay! more VIP treatment by my relatives!!!

my driving is seriously in trouble. got no time for lessons. skip like more than 6 already. die die and my test is less than 2 months away!! help!!!
