time for a proper blog entry~ what has happened since june 7? there was this N.E/heritage tour called the lion's trail that served only to take away one day of my block leave. going out...also, i've been watching episodes of desperate housewives (bree!), joey (bobbie!) and the simpsons (homer!) and i read finish a novel. i highly recommend...

The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan
it's about the complex relationship a mother has with her daughter...aiya fuck it.
Young ladies should read it because there is still free time before uni/sch starts.
Guys should read it because we need to keep our brains busy before the army turns us into illiterates.

went to bangkok for a few days and
1) i got mistaken as a thai twice. first by air stewardess and second by hotel staff. just because i have very short hair means what? i graduated from Monk University? (note to readers: i love all races :P)

2) i saw a rat swimming in the chao praya river. not floating but really swimming! it was funny seeing it lift its head out of the water and using its 4 tiny feet. it approached the boat but i think when we left the waves just drowned it.

3) chatuchat weekend market. it's heeren meets ikea meets clark quay. that place also sells pets. saw puppies that can barely stand on its own and baby squirrels. cute life forms.

4) what a coincidence! on my sightseeing tour was a fellow raven recruit! but he was from platoon 1 (im in platoon 2) so heck la.

Congratulations Justin, you are...

You are independent, smart and beautiful. Its too bad you don't see that yourself because life's little difficulties brought down a lot of your self confidence. As a result, you talk cryptic and you don't trust people easily. You care a lot for your friends and your loved ones, sometimes even more than you care for yourself, although they don't always seem to appreciate it. Don't let that affect you. As the saying goes, you don't miss the water till the well runs dry. So hang in there, you're a star in the making.
